Welcome to The Woodland A-Frame! Built in 1965, our cozy cabin is located 20 mins from Stratton Mountain & Mt. Snow, and 30 mins from Bromley, & Magic Mountain! Vermont is a four-season state, allowing guests to enjoy the cabin anytime of year. Whether it's for fall foliage, winter activities, spring festivals, or a summer at the lake, we are happy to host you anytime during the year to experience your ideal Vermont getaway!

The Woodland A-Frame is equipped with everything you'll need for an awesome Vermont getaway! The house offers two queen bedrooms, a full kitchen with four-burner gas stove and oven, toaster, drip coffee maker, midcentury fireplace fueled by gel cans (provided), central AC (yes, really!), WiFi, shower and tub, Public Goods products, stylish and new midcentury decor throughout, outdoor area with deck, charcoal grill, picnic table, Adirondack chairs around the outdoor firepit, & firewood...just to name a few features!
The home was built in 1965 and renovated in 2022 to give guests a more modern A-Frame experience. A lot of amenities have been added (hello central A/C!), however a few items were not due to the age of the home. The steps within the home are very steep - if you are not comfortable doing steps, this may not be the home for you. Additionally, there is no microwave, however there is a four burner stove and oven and a charcoal grill to accommodate your cooking needs! Please note that the fireplace inside is fueled by gel canisters, which will be provided for your stay. If you prefer a wood fire, please enjoy the SoloStove firepit outside! Wood is provided.
Guests have use of the full house EXCEPT for the locked owner's closet in the basement.
Have a four-legged friend? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 fee per pet (maximum of 2 pets). Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along at the time of your booking!
Please note that this house does have two sets of steep steps, which may not be suitable for all guests. Please ensure you are comfortable climbing stairs prior to booking.
Per our listing, The Woodland A-Frame has a four-person limit per stay. Any guests above this limit will be charged $500 per person.
We do not allow parties, events or loud noise. Any violation of these rules will incur a $500 fine.
WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use The Woodland A-Frame's features, facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, lofts and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fire pit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.

The woodland cabin is absolutely perfect! My husband & is stayed over the weekend to disconnect, and our stay could not have been better. The welcome message was full of helpful information, making planning our weekend super easy, and the check-in process was seamless.
The cabin itself is beautiful, cozy, and private. Surrounded by trees but just off the main road, it's easy to get to. Its location is perfect, with many surrounding towns (Manchester, Dover, Wilmington) & attractions like hikes, lakes, & mountains (Stratton, Mount Snow) nearby.
We loved making breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen. Our dog loved being out on the porch while we read. The cabin is impeccably clean & provides everything needed for a stay, including toiletries & clear instructions.
Overall, this cabin is a special place, & we highly recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and recharge or seek adventure in the Green Mountains. This has become our go to cabin when visiting VT, our home away from home ❤️
Such a peaceful and beautiful space for a weekend getaway! We loved the cozy projector setup, the quiet surroundings, and comfy loft bed. Great proximity to multiple ski destinations as well! If it’s a cold night, I’d recommend bringing slippers as it was on the chillier side downstairs. What a great find, we’d come back again in a heartbeat!
Just what the wife and I needed for a quick night away. Very peaceful and secluded. House was super clean and exactly as described. Caelan was very responsive and helpful with recommendations on where to get dinner. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back.
My husband, six year old, and seven month old took a road trip across New England and this was our last stop before heading home. My favorite part was snuggling up on the couch and watching a movie on the projector while being surrounded by snow, trees, and the creek outside the window. Caelan was quick to respond and helped solve any difficulties we had. I would definitely stay at one of Caelan’s properties again.
